Boost Mobile has announced its new international roaming packs as a paid add-on across all pre-paid plans.
For $40 you can get 14 days of international roaming that covers more than 40 countries around the world. This is better value than Vodafone’s $5 per day and both Optus and Telstra’s own offerings.

With more than seven million international trips expected to be booked in 2023, Boost Mobile’s new roaming packs could prove a very popular option with travelers.
“Australians have an insatiable thirst to travel, which is only exacerbated more by the restrictions and challenges of the last two and a half years,” said Jason Haynes, General Manager of Boost Mobile.
“But travel is increasingly costing more than it used to, and so we are thrilled to be delivering such an affordable and compelling option for all Australians.”
The large international roaming pack will cost $40 for 5GB of data and a 14-day expiry. If you don’t need that much data, there are also $20 and $30 roaming packs with 1GB and 3GB respectively. But the expiry date on those packs also decreases to 3 and 7 days.
A full list of the countries that the new roaming packs cover can be found on the Boost Mobile website.
