Mets GM Billy Eppler confirmed the signings of LHP Jose Quintana and RHP David Robertson Friday, making New York’s moves from Wednesday and Thursday official.

“Over the last decade, Jose has been one of the most dependable starting pitchers in the majors,” Eppler said in a statement. “Adding another left-handed option to our rotation, especially one with his durability, experience, and moxie, will give our starting staff quality depth.”

Quintana, 33, signed a two-year contract with the Mets after posting a career-best 2.93 ERA over 30 starts during the 2022 season in the starting rotations of the Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals.

The 37-year-old Robertson, meanwhile, returns to New York — he spent 2008-14 and 2017-18 with the Yankees — following a 2022 split between the Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Philles, where he pitched to a 2.40 ERA and 20 saves while striking out 81 and walking 35 in 63.2 IP out of the bullpen.

“We’re very excited to add a pitcher of David’s caliber to our bullpen,” Eppler said. “He has been pitching in high-leverage situations for teams with postseason expectations since his career began.”
