Filipino-American rising hockey star Jason Robertson is making waves in the United States as he is currently the leading goal scorer in the 2022-2023 season of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Robertson, whose mother was born in the Philippines, suits up for the Dallas Stars and so far, the 23-year-old forward has garnered 22 goals to lead the league in that department.
With a hat trick last night, Jason Robertson leads the league in goals-scored in the 2022-23 @NHL season AND calendar year.

Robertson has also scored 39 points in total behind leader Connor McDavid of Edmonton Oilers who has 43 across his name.
Robertson was selected 39th overall by Dallas during the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, but only officially appeared on the team’s roster in 2019.
He was also recently named the NHL’s First Star of the Month for the month of November.
Robertson is one of four players of Filipino descent to play in the NHL, a list that includes his younger brother, Nicholas Robertson.
