1. Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles still control top billing this season for the 6th week in a row. Philly had a bye week which gave the rest of the league a chance to catch up to their hot 6-0 start.
The Eagles have been electric on offense, led by quarterback Jalen Hurts, and their defense has been among the best in the league. Philadelphia has a favorable schedule the next few weeks and will look to remain undefeated against their in-state rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

2. Buffalo Bills
Buffalo, also coming off a bye, is sitting at 5-1 and is in first place in the AFC. Josh Allen and the Bills have one of the best offenses in the NFL, but it is the defense that has allowed them to take another step this year with the addition of players like Von Miller. Buffalo will face a struggling Green Bay Packers team in their hunt to claim the AFC.

3. Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs remain at number 3 even after defeating the San Francisco 49ers 44-23 and improving to a 5-2 record for the season. Patrick Mahomes has played well so far this season and added another 423 yards passing and 3 touchdowns against the 49ers. Kansas City will face playoff teams the next couple of weeks as we approach the halfway point in the season.

4. New York Giants
The New York Giants beat Jacksonville 23-17 and improved to 6-1. Few would have thought the Giants could keep their momentum going this long, but the team has been able to follow Saquon Barkley’s lead, who had another 100-yard rushing game. The Giants hope to keep their winning streak alive against the Seattle Seahawks this week.

5. Dallas Cowboys
The 5-2 Dallas Cowboys are right on the heels of the Giants after a dominant 24-6 win over the Detroit Lions. Dak Prescott returned from injury and played well, finishing with 207 yards11¹11 passing with a touchdown. The Cowboy’s defense has been spectacular and came up big again with 5 sacks and 2 interceptions.

22. New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints fell to 2-5 overall after a disappointing 34-42 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night Football. The offense started the game well but fell apart before halftime with two costly interceptions returned for touchdowns. The defense also faltered by allowing the Cardinals to score at will. New Orleans is still only 1 game out of the division lead and will need to get healthier to make a postseason run.
