Thompson Blanks Ducks as Vegas Claims 4-0 Win on Nevada Day

Logan Thompson stopped all 29 shots that came his way as the Vegas Golden Knights (7-2-0) defeated the Anaheim Ducks (1-6-1), 4-0, on Nevada Day at T-Mobile Arena.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
Chandler Stephenson converted on a power play late in the first period to give Vegas a 1-0 lead. Midway through the second, William Karlsson Set up Reilly Smith for a shorthanded goal to extend the Vegas lead to 2-0. Karlsson and Nicolas Roy each found the back of the net in the final five minutes of the middle frame as the Golden Knights carried a four-goal advantage into the second intermission. Thompson held down the fort in the third period as Vegas earned its third win in a row.
