Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is fed up with his team’s “double digit mistakes every week” after another loss on Monday [AEDT] dropped Green Bay to 3-4 this season.
During his regular appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Wednesday, Rodgers suggested that maybe it’s time to give other Packers players a chance at game action since some aren’t producing.
“Guys who are making too many mistakes, shouldn’t be playing,” Rodgers said, following a 23-21 loss to the Commanders.
“Gotta start cutting some reps. Maybe guys who aren’t playing, maybe give them a chance.”

Rodgers chalked up the Packers’ defeat to the “mental errors” and “a lot of mistakes.”
The two-time reigning NFL MVP — who was without All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari — struggled to connect with his receivers. He finished 23-of-35 passing for 194 yards and the Packers went 0-of-6 on third down.
The Packers couldn’t find their rhythm and didn’t get over 100 yards of total offense until the final play of the third quarter.
When asked about his own performance, Rodgers said that Packers’ quarterbacks coach Tom Clements gave him his highest single-game grade yet this season.
The Packers have now lost three straight games, including back-to-back losses to the Jets and Giants. The Packers visit the Bills (5-1) in Week 8.
