• The Rangers hired three-time World Series champion Bruce Bochy as their next manager, inking him to a three-year deal. Bochy last managed with the Giants in 2019. He won three World Series with San Francisco. He has 25 years of MLB managerial experience, all of it previously coming with the Giants and the San Diego Padres. Bochy replaces Chris Woodward, who was fired in August. Tony Beasley served as the interim manager for the remainder of the season. (10/21/22)

• The Blue Jays signed John Schneider to a three-year contract to manage the club he led to a wild-card berth as an interim skipper. (10/21/22)
