The betting lines are moving as kickoff approaches for NFL Week 6 on Sunday, Oct. 16. That includes the biggest game of the season so far in Kansas City, where the Bills battle the Chiefs in a redemption rematch from last year’s all-time thriller AFC Playoff game.
The Bills-Chiefs late afternoon kickoff in Kansas City with 2022 MVP odds leaders Josh Allen (+175) and Patrick Mahomes (+400) is preceded by the Ravens-Giants game in New Jersey. MetLife Stadium is where there will be additional electricity on the football field as another leading MVP candidate Lamar Jackson confronts the NFC’s leading rusher Saquon Barkley.

- Through 5 games, Bills QB Josh Allen leads the NFL in passing with 1,651 yards, 14 TD’s and AFC-best 8.3 yards per pass. Patrick Mahomes has passed for 1,398 yards and a league-high 15 touchdowns.
- Buffalo’s defense is conceding only 4.8 yards per target to TEs (4th), and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce leads the NFL with 7 TD receptions. Kelce’s 347 receiving yards is tops among tight ends along with the Ravens’ Mark Andrews (349). Bills WR Stefon Diggs is gaining 2.67 yards per route run (4th). His 5 TD receptions are tied with Raiders WR Davante Adams for the most among wide receivers, and Diggs’ 508 receiving yards is the fourth most in the league.
- Both teams have rookies in the secondary that will be targeted by the All-Pro quarterbacks. But two key defenders for the Bills are ready to return after missing last week’s game – starting S Jordan Poyer (ribs) and LB Tremaine Edmunds (hamstring). Also, TE Dawson Knox (foot/hamstring) and starting slot receiver Isaiah McKenzie (concussion) are also returning to the lineup after both missed last week’s 38-3 blowout win over the Steelers.
