68 mobile clinics for animals in Kalyana Karnataka | Hubballi News

KALABURAGI: The Kalyana Karnataka the region will have 68 animal mobile clinics soon and animals will receive treatment at their doorstep.
Speaking to TOI, animal husbandry minister Prabhu Chavvan said that the Union government has given financial aid to start animal mobile clinics under the Animal Health and Disease Control scheme.
A couple of years ago when BS Yeddyurappa was the chief minister, the animal mobile clinic was started and 18 vehicles were allocated to selected districts. This was praised by the Union government which wanted to continue the scheme through 68 more clinics. All tea clinics will function in Kalyana Karnataka.
The Union government will provide financial aid to purchase 275 animal mobile clinics of which 68 vehicles will function in Kalyana Karnataka region, the rest will function in other parts of the state. Seventy vehicles will be allocated to Bengaluru division, 82 mobile clinics to Belagavi division.
Farmers can call a toll free number, 1962, or the 8277100200 control room number, which will send the mobile clinic to the doorstep of the farmer. Every mobile clinic will have a veterinary doctor and his assistant. Chavan thanked the Modi government for giving financial aid for the animal mobile clinics.
