6 Palm Beach County golf courses make Golfweek’s ‘Best Private Courses’ ranking

It should come as no surprise to see Palm Beach County’s finest private golf courses rated among the best in the United States.

Golfweek’s annual “Best Private Courses 2023: State-by-state rankings” includes six county courses representing five different Palm Beach County communities.

Juno Beach’s Seminole once again topped the publication’s state rankings for Florida. The Donald Ross-designed course also ranked No. 12 in Golfweek’s Top 200 Classic Courses in the US built before 1960.

Jupiter’s Jupiter Hills Club and The Bear’s Club were ranked in the Top 10 for Florida and also cracked the Top 100 for the country’s best modern courses.

Each of the six courses also featured on Golfweek’s 2022 rankings. Lantana’s High Ridge was the biggest climber in moving up from No. 17 while Trump International West Palm Beach slid the furthest to No. 17.
