4K Street Fighter 6 match footage of high level players from the 2nd closed beta

  • by

We’re happy to present some brand new footage of the second Street Fighter 6 closed beta in full 4K glory at 60 frames per second. This was captured on a GeForce 4090 RTX with settings maxed out in-game.

The footage was recorded with some of the highest ranked players in Street Fighter 6 right now, and features all 8 playable characters, which are Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Juri, Jamie, Kimberly and Luke.

Not only is the match footage excellent, the quality of the video is also very nice to see, so you can witness Street Fighter 6 showcased at a high resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. As such, there are numerous things to take away from this footage.

Thousands of players are currently participating in the Street Fighter 6 closed beta, which launched on December 16, 2022 and will end on December 19th — unless Capcom decides to extend the beta window period.

Street Fighter 6 is a brand new entry with its own meta and general approaches that players will need to learn, and it plays considerably different than its predecessor, with a larger focus on neutral and set play. However, if you’re not careful, matches can end just as quickly as Street Fighter 5 could, if your opponent is stocked with enough resources and the knowledge of how to use them properly.

Early netcode impressions continue to be extremely positive, with matches being playable with ping times 2-to-3x higher than what was previously considered playable in Street Fighter 5. Matches have been reported as fully viable not only cross country, but across the globe, although this may not hold up long term, depending on the quality of the player’s connections.

When it comes to netplay, the early returns tend to be extremely positive, as fighting game developers have put a heavy emphasis on netplay quality.
