Even at 39, the Astros ace Justin Verlander is going as strong as ever. While he had a brilliant game against the Phillies, almost no one noticed Verlander threw his pitches with his hand bleeding.

When Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle shared a picture of the same, the Astros fans could not hesitate but praise their veteran ace. Taking to Twitter, Chandler wrote, “Justin Verlander has appeared to be bleeding from his right hand throughout his outing.”

Reacting to this photo, several Astros fans shared their opinions and predicted what could be the reason behind this.
