The best players in the world have made their way to Jack’s place in Dublin, Ohio, for the 2023 Memorial Tournament.
Muirfield Village will host an absolutely stacked field, including the top five players in the Official World Golf Ranking — Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele. Rahm won this event in 2020 while Cantlay claimed the title twice in 2021 and 2019.
Billy Horschel, who tied for 40th at the Charles Schwab Challenge last week, enters as the defending champion. The Florida Gator bested Aaron Wise by four shots last season for his seventh PGA Tour title.
Scheffler, unsurprisingly, is the betting favorite at +600 followed by Rahm at +750.

Collin Morikawa (1/22)
Morikawa is looking for his first win on Tour since the 2021 Open. He’s tied for 26th and 29th in his last two starts and has good course history at Muirfield. He missed the cut last season, however, he finished runner-up in 2021.
And in 2020, Morikawa won the Workday Charity Open which was played at Muirfield.
Justin Thomas (1/28)
Thomas struggled a bit at the PGA Championship, making the cut on the number and finishing T-65. However, he played well in his two starts before the major, tying for 25th at the RBC Heritage and for 14th at the Wells Fargo Championship.
He’s made the cut at the Memorial four of the last five years, including a fourth-place finish in 2017 and an eighth-place finish in 2018. Thomas finished runner-up to Morikawa at the 2020 Workday Charity Open.
Rickie Fowler (35/1)
Over his last five starts, Fowler has made four cuts and has finished T-10, T-15, T-14 and most recently, T-6 (Charles Schwab Challenge).
Since missing three straight cuts at the Memorial from 2014-16, Fowler has made five of six cuts, with four of those finishes being 14th or better. In 2021, Fowler finished 11th.
Muirfield would be a fitting location for Fowler to return to the winner’s circle.
Adam Scott (45/1)
Before a T-29 outing at the PGA Championship, Scott tied for eighth at the AT&T Byron Nelson and for fifth at the Wells Fargo Championship.
The Aussie had an extremely average week at Muirfield Village last season, finishing 67th after shooting an 80 on Sunday. However, Scott finished 16th in 2021 and second in 2019.
