A surge in Seattle and an injury in New York has shifted the race for the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year race.
Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker has become the favorite to win the annual honor after Week 7, according to BetMGM. Meanwhile, Jets running back Breece Hall has come off the board after sustaining a torn ACL in his knee during the team’s win over the Broncos in Week 7.
Walker rumbled for 168 yards and two touchdowns during the Seahawks’ win over the Chargers. The team’s second-round pick has tallied 411 rushing yards on 67 carries and four TDs. Walker took over a bigger role with Seattle’s offense after Rashaad Penny went down with a season-ending injury.
Hall tallied 463 rushing yards on 80 carries with four TDs and 19 receptions for 218 yards and one TD before going down with the injury.
