The Cardinals had a formal combine interview with Utah OL Braeden Daniels

The Arizona Cardinals met with scores of NFL draft prospects at the combine earlier this month. We know who some of the formal interviews were.

We know of another now.

According to The Draft Network’s Justin Melo, the Cardinals held a formal combine interview with Utah offensive lineman Braeden Daniels.

Daniels measured 6-foot-4 and weighed in at 294 pounds at the combine. He showed athleticism, running the 40 in 4.99 seconds and posting a 30.5-inch vertical leap and 9-foot-1 broad jump.

He started at right tackle and left guard before moving to left tackle in 2022, giving him versatility at the next level, although he will perhaps be better suited on the interior with his size and 33-inch arm length.

Daniels had formal interviews at the combine with at least three other teams other than the Cardinals, and he has a top-30 official visit scheduled with the Seattle Seahawks.

He projects as a Day 3 or low Day 2 pick, depending on the projections.
