The Syracuse Orange will be returning home after a two-game road trip. ‘Cuse and the Virginia Tech Hokies will face off in an ACC battle at 7 pm ET on Wednesday at the JMA Wireless Dome. The Orange and Virginia Tech are even-steven over their past eight head-to-heads (4-4).
‘Cuse came up short against the Virginia Cavaliers this past Saturday, falling 73-66. The losing side was boosted by guard Joseph Girard III, who shot 5-for-9 from downtown and finished with 19 points.
Meanwhile, Virginia Tech was close but no cigar this past Saturday as they fell 73-69 to the NC State Wolfpack. The top scorer for Virginia Tech was guard Sean Pedulla (19 points).
These two teams will surely be fighting tooth and nail to get back into the win column after losses last week. We’ll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
