Steelers sign OT Le’Raven Clark to 1-year contract

On Friday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced that they had signed offensive tackle Le’Raven Clark to a one-year contract. Clark played for the Tennessee Titans in 2022 but spent his first four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and one season in between with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Yep, this is the third former Eagles offensive lineman to sign with Pittsburgh this offseason. The Steelers had already signed guards Nate Herbig and Isaac Seumalo earlier in free agency.

Clark is a former third-round pick out of Texas Tech. During his six-year career, Clark has been active for 64 games and has 18 career starts. This signing does nothing to change the significant need the team has at left tackle. He is not a replacement for Dan Moore Jr. and is more likely a depth player who Pittsburgh can count on to play tackle or guard.

This third signing is another example of just how much influence assistant general manager Andy Weidl has over the roster. Weidl worked in the Eagles front office and knows all these players well.
