STATEN ISLAND, NY — It was music to her ears!
One loyal Advance/SILive.com subscriber received a free mobile speaker Thursday as part of our latest SILive Experiences promotion.
Between 4 pm and 5 pm, we waited for the first eligible subscriber to arrive at Tekie Geek in Great Kills — which was offering our readers a free Sonos speaker.
“I saw the subscriber email earlier today from the Advance and said I have to get down there,” said Janet Dugo, a 20-year subscription holder of the Advance/SILive.com. “I’m just so excited to have won this.”
The Advance/SILive.com teamed up with Mike Bloomfield, owner of Tekie Geek in Great Kills, to give away one (1) free Sonos portable speaker to a subscriber on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022.
Dugo said she couldn’t believe she was the first person to arrive Thursday evening and win this subscriber-exclusive gift.
“This is something I could really use,” she said. “I’m so grateful!”
Mike Bloomfield, owner of Tekie Geek, said he was happy to give back to the Advance’s subscribers.
“The Advance is so important to everyone living here on Staten Island and all the businesses here,” he said. “To work with them and make someone’s day is so exciting.”
