We now have a better idea of when we will see Boston Celtics big man Robert Williams III back on the court again for the Celtics after the Louisiana native began sitting out games due to a strained hamstring. The information came to light thanks to a recent appearance by head coach Joe Mazzulla on 98.5 the Sports Hub’s “Zolak and Bertrand” show.
“He’s getting a lot better,” said Mazzulla to the hosts regarding Timelord’s potential return to the court for Boston (courtesy of MassLive’s Brian Robb). “He worked out yesterday and hopefully will return in the next 5-7 days.”
The issue of just how dinged up veteran Boston floor general Marcus Smart was given a recent spate of play where the Flower Mound native did not seem like himself.

“No one is at 100% at this time of the year, but he does a great job taking care of his body,” said Mazzulla. “I don’t think there’s anything serious, just some nicks and bruises based on how hard he plays.”
