Going to an NBA game can be expensive, even in a small market like Milwaukee.
According to a survey by California Casinos, which is owned by Catena Media US, Inc. in Las Vegas, the Milwaukee Bucks rank 10th in the NBA for the most expensive game experience.
For one ticket, two beers, a hot dog and parking to watch the Bucks at Fiserv Forum, it costs, on average, $129.37. That’s just behind the Sacramento Kings at $130.57 and ahead of the Miami Heat at $128.17.
Ticket prices can vary depending on the opponent. What it costs to see the Los Angeles Lakers or Boston Celtics in Milwaukee probably won’t be the same as the last place Houston Rockets and Detroit Pistons.
The most expensive game experience belongs to the New York Knicks where fans pay, on average, $261.63 to watch a game at Madison Square Garden. The second most expensive game experience is the defending champion Golden State Warriors at $219.13 average.
The cheapest game experience goes to the Charlotte Hornets, where the average is $67.11.
The Bucks have been taking some steps to address ticket prices for their season ticket holders. Recently, the organization announced that some season ticket holders will see their ticket prices stay flat or decline slightly next year.
The Bucks declined to comment for this story.
