The Enforcement Directorate has frozen cryptocurrency Tether, an Ethereum token tethered to the US dollar, totaling Rs. 47.64 lakh, under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. According to a statement from the Enforcement Directorate (ED), this followed an investigation of a person by the name of Aamir Khan and others about a mobile gaming application, E-nuggets.

Spain’s largest telecom company, Telefónica, has made a key investment round in Bit2Me, the country’s largest crypto exchange. According to local media reports, the investment was US$29 million. That said, Bit2Me has not made any official statement on the amount of investment made.
