Could Robert Williams III return on the Boston Celtics’ road trip?

Fans of the Boston Celtics have been patiently waiting for the return to action of their starting center, big man Robert Williams III. Waylaid as he recovers from arthroscopic cleanup surgery conducted late in the 2022 NBA offseason on the same knee he tore his meniscus in at the end of the 2021-22 regular season, the Timelord is reportedly getting close to being ready to get back on the court.

At present, there is anticipation that he will be ready to play again before Christmas, but the exact date has yet to be nailed down in public, presumably to keep the pressure off of the Texas A&M alum. But there is a real chance Williams might return while Boston is on their current extended road trip.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast recently sat down to talk about the possibility.

Take a look at the clip embedded above to get their views on Timelord’s return.
