Beaumont ISD students grades 3-12 eligible to receive free mobile WiFi hotspots through T-Mobile Project 10Million

With the help of T-Mobile, Beaumont ISD will be able to provide eligible students with a free mobile Wi-Fi hotspot through Dec. 12.

In addition to the hotspot device, participants will have access to unlimited data for the first year.

The offering is made possible by T-Mobile’s Project 10Million, which works to “ensure internet access is not a barrier to a child’s education,” according to the company’s website.

Eligible students include those who are in grades 3-12 in the National School Lunch Program. A Community Eligibility Provision form must be completed at or before distribution in order for students to receive their device.

Mi-Fi pickups are available on the dates below at respective campuses:

  • Dec. 8, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at King Middle School, 1400 Avenue A in Beaumont
  • Dec. 9, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Odom Academy, 2550 W Virginia St. in Beaumont
  • Dec. 10, 10 am to 2 pm at the Beaumont ISD Admin Building Board Room, 3395 Harrison Ave. in Beaumont
