Any experts taking Rams to upset Chiefs?

  • by

The Los Angeles Rams are in a really tough spot heading into this weekend’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Not only are they missing Cooper Kupp and several offensive linemen, but Matthew Stafford has also been ruled out due to a neck injury.

As a result, the Rams are 15.5-point underdogs on the road against Kansas City, a completely one-sided game. It’s hardly surprising that the Rams aren’t getting much love from the experts. According to NFL Pick Watch, only 2% are taking the Rams to pull off a stunning upset against the Chiefs. Only the Texans have fewer experts picking them to win this weekend, sitting at 1% against the Dolphins.

A good portion of experts are taking the Rams to at least cover the 15.5-point spread, however; 40% of experts are picking them to cover against the Chiefs. It’s not the majority, but it’s close to a 50-50 split, at least.

The Rams won’t technically be eliminated from playoff contention if they lose and fall to 3-8, but it’ll make it incredibly difficult for them to make it. They already have their backs against the wall and this game could be the one that ends any playoff hopes.
