Alleghany Highlands Regional Library Launches Mobile App

Now Alleghany Highlands Regional Library patrons can hold the library in the palm of their hands! With a new mobile app, called MyLIBRO, Alleghany Highlands Regional Library patrons have access to a variety of library resources through their mobile phones and tablets. The MyLIBRO app is already available through the App Store and Google Play.

“The MyLIBRO app will make accessing the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library easier by allowing our patrons to use our services remotely far more quickly and efficiently than in the past,” said Lisa Hicks, Alleghany Highlands Regional Library Director.

To access the app, patrons need to download the app and input their library card and PIN number. Please contact the AHRL if you need assistance with your PIN number.

Through the app, patrons are able to search the library’s catalog and view materials, place items on hold, and view the events calendar. The app also allows management of multiple library cards which makes visits to the Library easier for families.

For more information or help with this new service, contact the AHRL at 540-962-3321 or visit the Library at 406 W. Riverside Street in Covington.
