In order to give his boys some further work experience, Eric takes Phil and sibling Grant out on a ‘job’, much to Peggy’s disapproval. But with Eric and Phil both vying to be top dog of the family, who will emerge as the man of the house?
Keeble’s vendetta puts Phil under threat
The events of the past will, of course, be tied to what’s unfolding in the present day, where Phil is trying to escape the demons from his youth.
It’ll also be revealed who Keeble wants him to inform him on, while the truth about her obsession with the Mitchells is also set to be exposed.
And as preparations for Phil’s wedding continue, Keeble makes it plain to him that she’ll cause big trouble for Kat if he fails to deliver the information she needs. So, can Phil dig his way out of the mess he finds himself in – or is he destined to remain at Keeble’s mercy?
Freddie Slater returns
Freddie Slater (now played by Jade Goody’s son Bobby Brazier) will make a comeback in time for his aunt Kat’s wedding.
But he’s immediately set to cause a stir by snatching a bap from Stacey’s stall without paying before getting reprimanded for jumping the barrier at the Tube station. Bobby takes pity on him and pays what’s owed, but Billy is feeling less charitable and makes a move to call the police – only for Freddie to introduce himself as his son.
The trouble is that Freddie’s appearance results in friction between Billy and Honey, who demands that Little Mo can be contacted so that the matter of Freddie’s real biological father can be discussed.
By Thursday, Stacey will be seen assuring a hurt Freddie that his mum will have answers for him, but she and Eve will be left startled when they discover that he’s headed off without telling anyone…
Harassment for Frankie
Frankie’s first day as a teaching assistant fails to go to plan when she’s mocked by Amy, Denzel and Nugget, who also take inappropriate photos of her and use them to create a video for social media.
Things then go from bad to worse when Frankie tries to relieve her stress by going clubbing with Felix, Dotty, Whitney, Finlay and Vinny. But she’s followed home by a stranger whose advances she has been trying to evade at the club.
And even though she gets away without sustaining any physical injuries, Frankie is left feeling unsettled by what’s happened to her.
