ST. CHARLES, MO. – The 2022-23 schedule for the Lindenwood men’s golf team features 10 tournaments, four of which will take place in the fall, while six will be held during the spring portion.
The Lions open the season with The Arch Cup on Tuesday, September 6 at The Gateway National Golf Links in Madisonville, Ill. Lindenwood also started last season at The Arch Cup and finished in third place overall out of 13 teams. Matthew Frith finished in a tie for 12th, carding a 148 across two rounds, while Liam Bentein finished one shot behind Frith with a 149.
A few other tournaments during the fall portion include the Derek Dolenc Invitational on Sept. 26-27 and the Big O classic, in Omaha, Neb on October 3-4.
Lindenwood will begin the spring portion of its schedule in Mims, Fla. at the Carpenter-Chaney Classic across three days from Feb. 9-11. About a month later, the Lions will host the Lindenwood Invitational at the Missouri Bluffs Golf Club. The Lions took second place at their home tournament last season.
The OVC Championships will be held in Cape Girardeau, Mo. from April 22-26 at Dalhousie Golf Club, which will conclude Lindenwood’s inaugural Division I season.
