Chillicothe Paints 16, Normal CornBelters 3: The Paints routed the CornBelters during the first of a two-game series in Normal, Illinois, on Tuesday night. Normal scored all three of its runs in the third inning, but it was shut out for the remainder of the night.
Will Rettig pitched five and two-thirds innings, during which he gave up five hits, three earned runs and four walks. Scotty Adelman pitched one and one-third innings in relief, and he walked one batter while striking out two.
Arturo Disla became the Prospect League leader in home runs after belting his 10th home run of the year during the second inning. Disla ended the game 2-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs. Cameron Bowen hit a home run and a triple to finish 2-for-5 with four RBIs and a run. Victor Figueroa went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and a run. Owen Wilson hit a double, batted in two runs and scored twice.
Tim Orr recorded three hits, two runs and an RBI, while Cole Kwiatkowski added on a hit, an RBI and two runs. Tyler Shaneyfelt and CJ Dean both went 2-for-5. Shaneyfelt put up a run and an RBI, and Dean scored twice. Brayden White notched one hit and scored two runs.

Chillicothe Post 757 11, Waverly Post 142 10: The Colts scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to walk off with a win over the Shockers on Tuesday. Isaiah Schmidt brought Ashton Crace on the final play of the game, and Schmidt ended the game with an RBI.
Crace went 1-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and two runs, and Landyn Patterson led the Colts after going 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBIs, two runs and two intentional walks. Braylon Leach added two hits and two runs, while River Hayes and Logan Martin both went 1-for-3, and Martin batted in two runs. Josh Jackson and Maverick Frump recorded one hit and one run apiece, and Dylan Grubbs logged a hit, a run and an RBI. DJ Crocker hit a triple and scored twice, and Will Dratwa scored a run.
Kaden Penwell got the start for the Colts, and he allowed five earned runs on seven hits while striking out two during his three innings of work. Jamison Morton started for the Shockers, and he allowed six earned runs on eight hits through three and one-third innings.
Zack Hannah and Alex Boles both drive the Shockers at the plate. Hannah went 3-for-5 with a triple, three RBIs and two runs, and Boles went 3-for-4 with his own triple, two runs and an RBI. Hunter Hauck hit a double and scored a run, while Trevor Fike ended the game with a hit, a run and an RBI. Peyton Harris chipped in a hit and two runs, and Christian Horn added a hit and a run. Tanner Nichols batted in a run, and Ashton Cormany scored once.
Waverly Post 142 9, Hillsboro Post 129 6: The Shockers split the final day of their season after picking up a win over Hillsboro Post 129 on Tuesday. They scored seven runs over the final three innings and held Hillsboro back to secure the win.
Mason Roberts pitched the first four innings, and he struck out five while allowing four earned runs on five hits. Grayson Roberts closed out the game, and he allowed just one earned run on five hits. Harris went 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs, and Hannah put up a hit, a run and an RBI. Fike and Morton each added a hit and a run, while Grayson Roberts chipped in two runs and an RBI.
