Where in the world is Marcus Freeman: White Sox game edition

Baseball on the south side of Chicago has been rather forgettable this year as the White Sox are just 23-35 after starting the season seen as many as AL Central favorites. That didn’t stop Marcus Freeman and his staff from taking in Wednesday’s White Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels game, however.

Freeman threw out the first pitch before the matinee affair and accomplished his goal of not bouncing it – although it would have been called a ball for being too high even if Paul Bunyan was batting.

Regardless, Freeman and a good amount of his staff took in the ballgame that the Angels ultimately won 12-5. Although not a memorable day for the hometown White Sox, Freeman and company did get to see future Hall of Famers Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani hit home runs.
